    Responsibilities

    As a Financial Reporting Analyst you will be responsible for the accounting and the reporting activities for the entities of Societe Generale Global Solution Centre.

    Specifically, you will be required to:

    • Prepare  the monthly and/or quarterly reporting packages to Group or Regulatory authorities (balance sheet, profit and loss, off balance sheet and annexes);
    • Prepare regular Group consolidated reporting and audit trails and ensure that the documentation of controls is complete;
    • Perform accounting responsibilities (accounting entries, reconciliations, analysis of pending settlement and clearing amounts, reasonability controls) for general expenses, income, securities, financial instruments, etc in line with the business profile of the entities managed;
    • Prepare the monthly inter-company reconciliations,  review of intercompany and intra-group balances;
    • Perform analysis for own area of responsibility, identify and support the local and on-shore Finance teams or Team Leader for the continuous improvement initiatives or change projects;
    • Participate to implementation of global accounting standards and mutualisable best practices in the Shared Service Center;

    Profile required

    • Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience in Finance or Audit; graduate of Academy of Economic Studies, preferably Finance/Accounting/Banking or Polytechnics;
    • Academic background in Finance and Accounting; IFRS and Banking business knowledge would be a plus; 
    • Ability to communicate and build good relationships cross functionally/countries; 
    • Knowledge of Alteryx, Power Query, Power BI or VBA would be a plus;
    • Good  level of English, German would be a plus; 
    • Creativity and team spirit;
    • Analytical thinking with a risk-oriented mind-set;
    • Self-motivated with ability to work remotely, both independently and as part of a Global team;
    • ACCA and CECCAR certifications would be a plus;
