Position: Automation Test Lead (SDET)

Experience: 8-12 years

Job Location: Chennai / Bangalore

Position Type: Full time

Qualification: Any graduate

Technical Skills :

SDET, Automation Selenium, Playwright Framework, Java, Groovy, Strong in STLC, SDLC, Manual testing, API testing, SQL, Agile and Azure

Job Summary:

• Experience on end-to-end testing Life Cycle
• Experience on SDET, Playwright framework, Groovy/Java Programming
• Analyze the Automation metrics at client side and server side
• Experienced in identifying Automation test scenarios and writing automation test cases and framework
• Experienced in Sanity, Usability, Functional, Regression and Re-Testing
• Should be willing to work on challenging assignments
• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC, QA process, methodology and tools.; Working knowledge of Agile is added advantage
• Deep technical expertise in implementing industry standard testing methodology and tools
• Experience in implementing testing best practices specific to the test planning and execution processes and gaining buy-in for changes from executives
• A deep understanding of test planning and delivery challenges

Responsibilities:

• Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
• Understanding project Product documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.
• Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, Desktop, and Web, and building test scenarios and acceptance tests.     
• Working with deployments teams, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
• Analyzing and disintegrating software systems and coordinating with other teams to enhance the overall design.
• Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes
• Able to Design, Develop the automation framework
• Design, implement and enhance the quality process.
• Working within the Technology team, specifically on the software test design, development and execution of software products and applications
• Should be able to define test strategy and build scenarios.
• Should be able to work on multiple engagements.
• Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle: Agile methodology.
• Strive to continually improve the knowledge in test plan, development and execution skills.

Communication:

• Facilitates team and stakeholder meetings effectively
• Holds regular status meetings / scrum meeting
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
• Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
• Astute cross-cultural awareness and experience in working with international teams (especially US)
