Position:  Mainframe Developer / Lead

Experience:  5 to 10 years

Job Location:  Bangalore / Pune / Chennai

Qualification: Any graduate

Technical Skills:

 COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, PATTERN, DB2, Scheduler, Endeavor, XPEDITER, File-Aid, ABEND-AID, SPUFI, SAR, ZEKE, SDLC, Agile and Cloud(IBM/Azure)

 Summary :

• Participate in requirement gathering, design, development, and support of Mainframe based application with both batch and online portion.
• Extensive experience in migration projects from mainframe 3270 screen to modern HTML and Java script based online screens using CICS in the background.
• Working knowledge of investor system
• Ability to develop technical design from functional specifications
• Ability to do impact analysis for given functional / technical design
• Ability to create High level and low-level design / estimation
• Ability to create test plan and capability for Coding/Unit and Integration /system testing
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with good Analytical and logical reasoning is mandatory.
• Preferred Banking or Financial or Mortgage domain knowledge would be helpful.

Requirements:

• Hands on experience into Mainframe application development and migration using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, PATTERN, Scheduler, Pivot and relevant tools
• Mature design, coding, testing and debugging skills
• A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through.
• Excellent prioritization and time management.
• The ability to present and absorb complex ideas quickly and accurately.
• An ability to balance multiple time-critical tasks at the same time.
