Technical Skills:

• Azure Cloud – Azure App Services, Application Gateways, (v1/v2/WAF), Application Insights instrumentation, Log Analytics/KQL, WVD, VM Scale sets, Identity, Access,  Azure SQL.
• Azure Devops – Classic and (YAML) multi-stage style CI/CD, Dockers, Jenkins, Kubernetes and Terraform, Containerized releases, Boards
• IaC/provisioning/scripting – Terraform, Packer, ARM, AZ CLI, Powershell

 Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Integrate an existing team of cloud experts, and participate in developing Azure Infrastructure solutions for a diverse array of existing and new customers
• Participate in the solutioning efforts to the re-design and architecting efforts to support complex services integration ecosystems to the Azure cloud
• Be a key contributor and thought-leader in the DevOps space, maintaining and improving  current infrastructure and build automation services in Azure DevOps, as well as providing thought-leadership to continue to move the needle on CI/CD
• Be a key technical custodian of multiple customer-facing environments in Azure, ensuring contractual performance, availability, and capacity to support key Service-Level Objectives (SLOs)
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with other teams, technical stakeholders and external clients across concurrent projects, and priorities.
• Work closely with development and quality assurance teams on the integration of products into production in Azure
• Participate in on-call support schedules requiring senior-level engineering support
• Assist less experienced team members and assist in problem resolution as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

•  Strong Knowledge of Enterprise Application and Business-to-Business Integration.
• Strong knowledge of various Operating Systems, and Cloud Operations.
• A solid foundation in IT Ops Best Practices
• Extensive experience managing Microsoft AZURE IaaS, PaaS platforms. Certifications preferred (AZ-103, AZ-300/301/303, AZ-301, AZ-400, AZ-500)
• Security-savvy, with a proven track record of integrating security principles, processes, and tools in Azure-based cloud implementations
• Extensive Experience operating, automating and scaling cloud-based container, and micro-services solutions in Azure (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Extensive hands-on experience with imperative configuration and provisioning frameworks such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and PowerShell.
• Extensive hands-on experience with declarative provisioning frameworks and solutions (Terraform preferred)
• Extensive experience with Azure DevOps, DevOps Server, TFS, Git
• Solid understanding of code branching practices
• Hands-on experience building automation in one or more Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environments.
• Experience configuring and operating Azure monitoring, metrics and logging systems (Application Insights, Log Analytics/KQL).
• Working Knowledge of ELK stacks
• Scripting/automation development skills (PowerShell, YAML).
• MS-based Operating system administration skills preferably in a container focused environment
• Experience supporting Web Servers (IIS, Nginx) in the Cloud
