About the role:

Some of your essential day-to-day job duties and responsibilities will include:

• Monitor automated system alerts, log files, and set up monitoring tool , Alerts, outputs to ensure the continuous and smooth running of data.
• Manage and prioritize backlog of incidents. Assist in ensuring that documentation is always up to date.
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures
• Perform root cause analysis on issues that lead to the implementation of processes to prevent repetitive problems. Make recommendations to engineering team to increase platform resiliency.

Our requirements:

• Experience in AWS cloud, SQL Server, Postgres, Rails, CI/CD, Scheduling tools, Python, SQL, Spark experience in operations, services deployment,  experience in P1 or fire issues, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Experience in engineering or support roles with hands-on knowledge of data platforms and services, preferably in an AWS environment.
