Position:  IOS Developer / Senior IOS Developer

Experience:  5 to 8 years

Job Location:  Bangalore

Job Summary:

The Lead iOS Developer is expected to have a strong understanding of Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, iOS SDKs, and other related tools and technologies. They should be able to mentor and guide team members on best practices for coding, testing, and debugging iOS applications. Additionally, the Lead iOS Developer is responsible for ensuring that the applications are scalable, secure, and meet the quality standards set by the organization. They should also keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the iOS development space and recommend improvements to the existing product.

Requirements:

·         Proficient with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit

·         Experience with iOS frameworks such as Framework, coordinator pattern, async-await.

·         Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

·         Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.

·         Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards

·         Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines

·         Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred.

·         Published mobile apps.

·         Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools

·         Proficiency in benchmarking and optimization

·         Understanding of code versioning tools Git

·         Work efficiently with the iOS SDK, REST, JSON, API, Objective-C, Swift, Xcode, and apply relevant use of Unit and Integration Testing

Communication:

• Facilitates team and stakeholder meetings effectively.
• Holds regular status meetings / scrum meeting.
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
• Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
• Astute cross-cultural awareness and experience in working with international teams (especially US)
