    About the Job:

     

    A Network security application in C/C++ is residing in on-premises. It was originally built using makefiles. The plan is to migrate the build system to Bazel. Build migration experience to Bazel for C/C++ applications may be considered. E.g. Scons to Bazel, Gradle to Bazel, CMake to Bazel, Make to Bazel etc.

     

    Roles and Responsibilities:

     

    • Identifying, improving, and developing technology solutions that drive our strategic goals.
    • The candidate will possess strong hands-on migration experience for C++ application.
    • Working directly with the product managers of the product, as well as stack holders
    • Ability to liaison between lines of business and the development team, while working with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborating
    • Candidate should possess strong technical ability in business application/product development in combined with analytical and problem-solving skills

     

    Soft Skills: 

    • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
    • Successful experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
    • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication both written and verbal.
    • Strategic thinker with strong influencing skills and the ability to build consensus.
    • Strong action orientation; ability to make things happen.

      Communication: 

    • Facilitates team and stakeholder meetings effectively
    • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
    • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
    • Astute cross-cultural awareness and experience in working with international teams (especially US)
